Dr. Green earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from The Ohio State University where she was inducted into the National Honor Society in Psychology. She earned a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University during which time she was appointed the Student Director of the Psychology Clinic. Previous work experiences in mental health include child abuse and neglect investigations, psychological testing, counseling, and teaching various college courses. Dr. Green attended the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. There, she was recognized for excellence in child neurology and inducted into the prestigious Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes compassionate, collaborative, and scientifically excellent patient care. She completed her residency in General Pediatrics at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital in 2009. Since that time, Dr. Green has worked in both in- and outpatient settings in the Lexington community.

Today, Dr. Green has a small, Medicaid-only practice with a special emphasis on local foster and adoptive families. She enjoys providing clinically outstanding and personalized care to her patients.
